RSD Black Friday 2021 Releases: What You’ll Most Likely Be Able To Find This Year

Grab some Thanksgiving leftovers and head out to your favorite local record store on Friday, because RSD Black Friday is back.

While there haven’t been as many exclusive titles announced this year (119) compared to last year (134), there are still some big names on the 2021 RSD Black Friday list.

Here is what you’re most likely to find on Friday morning (besides cold turkey sandwiches and relatives who haven’t found their way out of your house.

Lana Del Ray “Chemtrails Over The Country Club”: RSD exclusive version on translucent cobalt vinyl and featuring an alternate cover.

Billie Eilish “No Time To Die”: 7-inch featuring two versions of “No Time To Die.” Side A is a live version recorded at the Brit Awards. Side B is a demo version of the song.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience “Paris 67”: Live recording from 1967 show at Olympia Theatre in Paris. Release is on red and blue mixed vinyl.

12,000 copies

Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit “Georgia Blue”: Album of covers of original songs from R.E.M., James Brown, The Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band and others. Special guests include Béla Fleck, Brandi Carlile and Brittney Spencer, who opened a string of live shows for Isbell this past summer.

Miles Davis “Live-Evil”: A celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original “Live-Evil” release, the RSD version of the live recording arrives on opaque teal-colored vinyl.

Lil Wayne featuring Rich The Kid “Trust Fund Babies”: Lil Wayne’s mixtape collaboration with Rich The Kid gets a CD-only release. YG also guests on the 10-track album.

Aerosmith: “1971 The Road Starts Hear”: An early recording of the band captured in their rehearsal room thanks to Joe Perry’s tape recorder. Among the song titles listed for this intimate recording are “Dream On” and “Mama Kin.”

Ozzy Osborne “No More Tears”: The 1991 release will be offered as a picture disc featuring an image similar to the original “No More Tears” album cover.
