We got ourselves a fancy new logo along with some new fonts and color scheme for you design nerds (I include myself in that group).
Along with the new logo also comes a new site tagline, “Midwest Vinyl and Sounds.” This reflects the website’s shift to include more Midwest-related music content outside of shopping for vinyl at some of the best independent music stores in this part of the country.
Some of our most-read articles such as Cover Story: Inside Urbana’s American Football House and Smart Studios Has Been On The Market In Madison For More Than A Year lean more toward the Midwest music scene rather than local record shops.
Yeah No Great is going to better embrace that type of content. That in no way means there will be less content about hunting for vinyl in the Midwest.
One of the main reasons this website started was to bring awareness and a voice to the awesome record stores found in the middle of the U.S. That goal remains a key focal point for Yeah No Great.
