Date Announced for Record Store Day 2020

Record Store Day will be returning to select independent music stores on April 18.

Organizers (kinda) announced the latest installment of Record Store Day when they added the 2020 logo to Facebook earlier this week.

The annual Record Store Day features limited edition releases and special events at independent music stores throughout the country. More than 400 Record Store Day releases were listed for last year’s event.

The first official Record Store Day was held in 2008. An additional annual Black Friday event was added under the Record Store Day banner in 2010.
